Located within the historic urban fabric of Argostoli, this project reimagines an aging apartment through a refined architectural renovation that balances contemporary design with the authentic character of the original structure.

The intervention was conceived as a dialogue between past and present. Rather than erasing the identity of the existing residence, the design approach carefully preserves its spatial memory while introducing a new architectural language defined by clean lines, natural materials, and subtle geometric clarity.

The internal layout was reconfigured to enhance spatial fluidity and maximize natural light, creating a more open and harmonious living environment. Carefully selected finishes and minimalist detailing reinforce a calm, contemporary atmosphere while allowing the original architectural elements to remain perceptible.

Designed to accommodate the evolving needs of a modern family, the apartment now offers a balanced composition of shared and private spaces, combining comfort, functionality, and aesthetic restraint.

The result is a timeless residential interior where modern architecture gently overlays the legacy of the existing building, creating a sophisticated yet welcoming home in the heart of Argostoli.
