Villa Hermes
Villa Hermes combines traditional Ionian craftsmanship with clean, contemporary geometry, carefully embedded within the terrain of Zola to capture panoramic views of Agia Kyriaki Bay.
Designed as an extension of the topography, the architecture prioritizes spatial clarity and seamless indoor-outdoor living. The villa's envelope utilizes rough-textured local fieldstone as a robust structural anchor. This material weight is balanced by a warm minimalist interior characterized by clean geometries, understated earth tones, and an absence of superficial ornamentation.
These rough-hewn stone walls transition seamlessly from the exterior facades into the main living spaces, blurring boundaries and drawing the landscape indoors.Meticulously planned around the path of the Mediterranean sun, the layout features deep structural overhangs to mitigate summer glare and large-format glass panels that frame the sea.
The outdoor space culminates at a stone-rimmed infinity pool that mirrors the changing blue tones of the horizon, creating a serene, light-filled sanctuary.
